Busterbladerandrew (Chaos) vs Justin (Jurrac) G1

Here's Game 1.

So...

It's been some time since my last blog post eh? Well anything serious anyway. The reason why you haven't seen any shiny Pokemon posts or any Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff aside from the duel videos is because I've been in the middle of EV training the shiny Deino I hatched a while ago. Before I continue I have a story. I was at locals this past Sunday, and since nothing was going on between rounds I decided to EV train my Deino and my friend Jeff was sitting across the table from me playing through his HeartGold nuzlocke. With the noise of the room and my games volume low, I didn't hear the sparkles but did hear the sparkles of my Deino. I almost killed a shiny Litwick without realizing a shiny had appeared. Here is that very Litwick.

Needless to say I was actually very surprised I ran into this. It has 31 IV's in Special Defense as well which is cool, the rest of its IV's are decent as well. Anyway I'm currently EV training against Basculin which honestly I'd hate to get as a shiny. But this is pretty much all of my Pokemon updates I really have for you.

Now on to Yu-Gi-Oh. What the fuck? As if Wind-Up Zenmaines wasn't enough, they've gone and added Wind-Up Rabbit to the Heroic Champion Excalibur tin. I think it's pretty safe to say that no "money" card is safe until A) these tins are finally released and B) the September ban list is revealed and announced. Once those two events occur, money cards will be safe once again, that is until the Return of the Duelist Special Edition.... and it's probably pretty obvious at this point, if Rescue Rabbit doesn't receive a reprint in the tins this year, it'll probably be this Special Edition. Now, I'm not really complaining about any of these reprints being a player in the poor category, however if I payed high amounts of money for a Wind-Up Zenmaines or Wind-Up Rabbit, or Evolzar Dolkka, I'd be pretty pissed. And I actually am regarding the Dolkka since I paid around $50 when it was all the rage. Right now, the only truely safe money card is in fact Photon Strike Bounzer, standing between $40 and $50. It's from the current set, and the next set isn't coming out until sometime after the tins are released, so we're still a ways off. At least Strike Bounzer will remain fairly high for some time...
