Covering A Few Things

Okay so lets just jump right into this. First off the reason for my recent absence is because I acquired Pokemon Black2's rom on Saturday last weekend, and a day or so ago I finally finished the main story. Needless to say it was more of a challenge not knowing what the fuck was going on due to the whole game being in Japanese, fuck all of you who had to be cheap and use the English patch, playing the Japanese version is much more challenging. For any of you who are curious, my team after beating the Elite 4 was: Flygon, Lucario, Emboar, Jellicent, Elektross and Whimsicott, all of them were level 60 or higher BEFORE taking on the Elite 4. Here's proof that I am done with the main game and are now in the post game.

The Black Kyurem. Only obtainable in the post game. Anyways there are a few other things regarding Pokemon that I'd like to talk about. Biggest thing is simply this: Shining Charm & Round Charm. These are both new key items in Black2 and White2. The first should actually be self explanatory, the Shining Charm is an amazing new item for people who enjoy hunting for shiny Pokemon, including myself. What the Shining Charm does is increases the likelihood of you encountering a shiny Pokemon. While this key item is in your bag, the chances of encountering a shiny are increased by 300% of the normal chances, making it a 1 out of 2,370.6 chance to encounter a shiny. There's more, and it's even better. If you're using the Masuda Method to breed for shiny Pokemon, the chances of you hatching a shiny Pokemon increase from 1 out of 1,365.3 to 1,024. Hunting for shiny Pokemon becomes MUCH easier. Less bragging rights to those who have spent hours, days, weeks and months for those shiny legendary Pokemon, and there are no bragging rights for people who RNG flawless shiny Pokemon. However if you manage to get them with the nature you want and good IV's without RNGing the Pokemon, then that I guess you can still brag about. Now the second charm is less exciting but is key to the second effect of the Shining Charm. The Round Charm increases the likelihood of your Pokemon in the daycare to produce an egg. Faster egg creation plus faster shiny hunting? Just wow, way to go. Something really useful in the key items department, least something new.
