June 5th - Lots? Going On

So where I live its officially June 5th, I'm not sure if its still the 4th somewhere in the world at the time of me posting this, so whatever. There seems to be quite a few things going on today. First off, its my birthday. Hurray for me being 22 years old. Really though, not many people I know actually celebrate adults birthdays, pretty much only kids these days. But there are a few other things happening both in the world of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! today and figured I'd make a fun random post. It's whatever right?

So the Pokemon thing should be easy to go over, the Pokemon Global Link has been shut down already, as their maintenance was announced ahead of time that it was going down starting on the 5th and was scheduled to be done by the 21st. If none of you pay any attention to Serebii.net you should head over there and check, or their Facebook page if you want an image that's a little bigger. There has already been a preview image of sorts regarding the new look of the Pokemon Global Link and a few new features that will be added during this downtime. The biggest feature is the changes to the Dream World. First off, it's getting a new area in the Dream Isle called the Cool Hole. I can't remember if there have been any Pokemon that have been revealed to be in this area but it's painfully obvious that there'll be a mix of ice types among other random Pokemon. Anyway, the second thing regarding the Dream World is the fact that you no longer have to wait the full 24 hours to go back into the Dream World. Instead it'll now be 23 hours, may not be much of a difference, but least this way if you're feeling more impatient, it'll take less time till you can get back in, right? The last thing about this is there is a special promotion if you still have your Black or White versions and are using Black2 and White2 to use the Pokemon Global Link. It is unknown at the moment what this promotion is, but here's hoping it's something cool, or good. With that note, the only thing left to say is if you left your Pokemon in the Dream World, you're now incapable of getting it off till the 21st, so sucks to be you if you find yourself needing that Pokemon. Also since I found the image regarding the Pokemon Global Link, I'll put the image that previews the new Pokemon Global Link at the bottom of this post.

Now onto the whole Yu-Gi-Oh! thing. A few things are supposed to be released today. Two promo cards are scheduled for release today, one of which was apparently released early? Or they just mean in the magazines or some shit. The two promos are Infernity General and Kachi Kochi Dragon. Kachi Kochi Dragon being in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal manga and Infernity General being in a Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga. Infernity General should make things a little more interesting, at least for Infernity players. Kachi Kochi Dragon, like on Dueling Network I expect to see little to no play what so ever. Also I don't know what the intended date for it actually is, but for those of you who have forgotten about it, Number 16: Shock Master is starting to appear in the mail for a lot of people, a few of my friends included. I may be slow on it or whatever but I don't really care.

So thats about all thats going on today, it's just some random shit but felt like posting something.
